Delft Circuits aims to be the first supplier on the market that especially targets the emerging quantum computer industry with specialized hardware. Our goal is to produce various standardized products for superconducting circuits. We start off with cabling and chip-packaging concepts. Currently we are a team of two founders and three interns.I started as an intern and as of February I am a co founder. I am working on developing numerical models that help us designing and understanding the physical aspects of our products. As a co founder I am responsible for finance, marketing, sales, HR and our materials supply.

Together with Pas Reform Hatchery Technologies and premix specialist Twilmij we have been working on a novel early feeding concept since December 2015. The result was recently published during the EuroTier exhibition in Hannover. The concept entails a post-hatch feeding solution, aiming to deliver feed and water to hatchlings in the challenging environment of chicken hatching chambers. Currently, chicks hatch during three days, but are not fed directly. With this new early feeding solution, chicks will be able to consume feed and water right after hatching.

In Ovo collaborated with Leiden University for the adoption of a technology that prevents feed from drying out. This technology, called NADES, is a natural water locking principle of desert seeds. It is formed by mixing solids in a specific ratio, after which they become and remain liquid. The resulting gel that we mix with the feed is safe for consumption.

Promovendus Anthe Janssen won the prize for the best presentation in the section Farmacochemistry. Janssen is part of Mario van der Stelt's group Molecular Physiology (LIC). He presented work that was published last summer in Science.

Anthe is competing the weekend before our cafe in the competition for Young Medicinal Chemist of the Year at the European Federation Medicinal Chemistry congress in Ljubljana and will share his story and result at the cafe!
